In January 2025 Michael Martin Murphey recorded a live version of his GOLD album Cowboy Songs. While not all of the songs from the original album, it's the vast majority. Joining him on stage were Waddie Mitchell, RW Hampton, Andy Hedges, Brenn Hill, Carin Mari, Kristyn Harris, Dom Flemmons, and the Rio Grande Band. IT was a special evening caught on tape celebrating one of his greatest collections of work.
